So, the reason a lot of traders seem to swear by forex factory is mostly about trust and how easy the site is to use. When I started trading, every trader on YouTube or in forums was always talking about forex factory as the go-to for news and event calendars. I think it just got kind of legendary, you know? It's super clear, the layout doesn't mess around, and it shows you things like "impact levels" and what currencies are affected right up front.
Look, in my experience, most of the big calendars (like FXStreet) have the same info because they're all dealing with worldwide economic releases, so it's not like forex factory has some secret data. But the way it updates super fast and has a giant community to point out any mistakes or weird data makes people trust it even more. Plus, there's a vibe of "if everyone is using it, the market might react more to these events," which gets people sticking around. It probably isn't more "magical" or accurate than FXStreet, but it's just super familiar and reliable, so that's why traders like it.
