It's honestly tough to see how Argentina can be fully stable with all the money they owe. Every few years, you hear about another bailout or another deal with the IMF. In my experience reading about it, the main problem is that Argentina keeps borrowing more to pay off old debts, so the cycle doesn't really stop.
Most businesses I read about are tired of all the changes in rules and taxes that come along with these bailouts. Sometimes companies even leave Argentina because of the unstable climate. My uncle works for a company that had to cut jobs after the government changed some financial policies because of IMF deals. No one wants to keep running a business if stuff like that keeps happening.
Why does it keep happening? People say it's because of government spending but also past presidents making promises they can't deliver. Unless they figure out a way to pay down debt and grow the economy without relying on more loans, it feels like the cycle will just continue. It's honestly a mess and I hope things change for future generations.
