In my opinion, Pedro Pascal just has that thing people want to talk about, you know? He’s got style, actual acting talent, and seems laid-back and funny in interviews. This year at Cannes, it’s like everyone’s obsessed with him – probably 'cause he showed up at Eddington, stood next to his trans sister Lux in awesome outfits, and pulled off that goofy red carpet moment with Joaquin Phoenix. Also, he’s been in so many cool shows and movies lately, from The Last of Us to The Mandalorian, so he’s got huge fans in both nerd and Hollywood circles.

I think what makes him stand out even more is how real he is about supporting his sister and the trans community. It doesn’t feel fake at all. Plus, the fashion world seems into him – like, he rocked Dior and hangs around with designers. That stuff always gets you extra red carpet points. All around, he’s just interesting to watch right now, and I get why the hype is real. If I saw him at Cannes, I'd totally want a selfie!
